Giuseppe Ciancia

GIUSEPPE CIANCIA is a counsel in the Milan office.

He is a specialist in corporate criminal law - for matters in-court and out-of-court - in the areas of company, tax, bankruptcy, environmental and labour criminal law.

He also has extensive qualifications and expertise in the area of administrative liability of companies, risk assessment analysis and in drafting organisational models pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.

As honorary judge (Magistrato Onorario), he worked with the corporate crime department in the Public Prosecutor’s office of Rome for more than three years. He has also written a number of publications on corporate criminal law.

He graduated with full marks from the University of Milan in 1990 and has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 1996. He was admitted to argue before the Italian Supreme Court in 2008.

In 1997, he obtained his three-year postgraduate diploma in law and criminal procedure at the La Sapienza University in Rome.
